Established in 1993, ASIAN AIRLINES & AEROSPACE (AA&A) has been a valued resource for industry players and professionals not only in the Asia-Pacific, but also the Middle East, India and Central Asia. It is also read by those in the aviation industry outside of Asia with an interest in the region.

It focuses on developments in the aviation and aerospace sectors in the Asia Pacific and wider Asian area, while also highlighting global events and trends of interest to the Asian aviation industry. Mandarin Airlines Receives its First ATR 72-600

Mandarin Airlines received the first of its nine ATR 72-600s. The aircraft will operate within Taiwan's domestic network. Jenny Tsao, President of Mandarin Airlines said, "The ATR 72-600 features several strengths, with fuel-efficiency as the major point.

PAL Holdings to Launch Airline's Longest Flight

Philippine Airlines commences its 15-hour nonstop flight from Manila to New York early next year. This will be the longest nonstop flight ever taken by a PAL aircraft. The airline will be using the first A350-900 ULR, due for delivery in mid-2018.

New Aircraft Kick-Off Thai Lion Air's Long-Haul Expansion

The first of Thai Lion Air's (TLA) three Airbus wide-body jets recently arrived in Bangkok. The arrival of the A330-300, flown straight from Airbus' Toulouse facility, spotlighted TLA's aggressive growth plan that was rolled out a few months ago.

Italy's Blue Panorama to Start China Flights in 2018

Blue Panorama Airlines will start long-haul flights to China during the 2018 Summer season. Flights from Bologna to the southeastern Chinese city of Nanning will commence on June 15, 2018, with a total of sixty return services to be offered over the ensuing weeks.
